Melbourne Airport Forecourt & Elevated Road – Designed by Ergun Group

As part of Melbourne Airport’s vision for a seamless traveler experience, Ergun Group has reimagined the landside journey with a bold redesign of the Elevated Road and Forecourt.

The new layout relocates pick-up and drop-off zones for Terminals 1, 2, and 3 into a purpose-built transport hub opposite Terminal 2. A striking gateway canopy marks the new airport entrance, leading into a reconfigured forecourt and dynamic orientation space.

A 19-meter-wide pedestrian bridge links all terminals, creating a fluid public realm and removing traffic from the terminal façade—unlocking future expansion opportunities and elevating the airport’s arrival experience.
